Syrian refugee and dissident "Ahmed" describes his life now that he has fled Syrian for Turkey. Ahmed, speaking in English and Arabic (with a US caller translating) describes the fear that he and thousands of other Syrian refugees face having fled from Syrian oppression under Dictator Bashar al-Assad. He questions why Iraq is supporting Syria and giving the Syrian dictatorship support and why Americans, who lost so many lives in iraq, are doing nothing to support the Syrian people. He asks why the US intervened to overthrow Moammar Gadhafi and stepped in when it was clear that Husni Mubarak was to be overthrown, but they have not done anything in Syria? Khaled Sayed discusses his documentary Egypt: The Story Behind the Resolution and his observations made during the filming of the documentary at the end of 2011. www.BehindtheRevolution.com. Some comments include wondering where the $1.5 billion that the US Gives the Egyptian Military goes. It isn't spent ont he soldiers or the military but many generals have become multi-millionaires with private businesses and factories being built. Is the US merely supporting Egypt to protect Israel? And why isn't the US doing more to support Egyptian Democracy? Many thousands of protesters are being assaulted, attacked, killed, injured and imprisoned by the Egyptian government even though Husni Mubarak is in jail on trial. www.RadioBaladi.com.
