Our guests is Adel Mozip who is a candidate for the Dearborn School Board in the Nov. 3, 2020 General Election. Mozip talks about being Arab Americans and the challenges of running for public office.

Adel Mozip is a Dearborn father, a software developer for Beaumont Health, and an active citizen who loves Dearborn Schools and Henry Ford College. He is a proud product of Dearborn Schools, a first-generation college graduate who was raised to value the importance of higher education. Adel is running again to ensure quality education for our students; strong schools with happy educators. Adel pledges to continue advocating for an equitable allocation of resources for all students. He is an active member of AAYSP, PTA, Leauge of Women Voters, Eastborn Neighborhood Association, and Dearborn Rotary. Adel has served on two statewide commissions and on the Dearborn School Board since April 2019.
